Getting started

What is IV Hydration Therapy?

IV hydration therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, and minerals directly into the bloodstream through an intravenous (IV) line. This allows for efficient hydration and nutrient delivery, bypassing the digestive system. IV therapy is commonly used to support hydration, recovery, and overall wellness.

Who is IV Therapy for?

IV therapy may benefit individuals seeking hydration support, nutrient replenishment, recovery from travel or physical exertion, or general wellness support. Services are provided only after a health screening to ensure IV therapy is appropriate for each individual.

IV therapy is not a replacement for medical care and is intended to complement a healthy lifestyle.  “WELLNESS SUPPORT”

Is Mobile IV Therapy Safe?

When performed by a licensed medical professional with appropriate screening and oversight, IV therapy is generally safe. At Modern Salt, all services are nurse-led, performed under medical director oversight, and follow strict clinical standards.

You can learn more on our Clinical Standards & Safety page.

Medical Considerations

Who Should NOT Receive IV Therapy?

IV therapy may not be appropriate for individuals with certain medical conditions, including but not limited to:

• Certain kidney or heart conditions

• Active infections at the IV site

• Allergies to ingredients used

All clients are screened prior to treatment, and services may be declined if IV therapy is not clinically appropriate.

Can I Receive IV Therapy If I Am Pregnant?

IV therapy during pregnancy requires additional screening and medical approval. In many cases, written clearance from an obstetric provider may be required. Services are not guaranteed and are determined on a case-by-case basis under medical director guidance.
